We stayed in a room with fabulous views over the bay at Greve de Lecq. The room was large and comfortable with lots of drawer & wardrobe storage. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the window taking in the view! Breakfasts were generous & excellent quality. Service was consistently friendly & efficient.

It would be beneficial to have a room safe, which would have avoided the need to carry out valuables with us all the time. Breakfast for residents finished at 10.00 on a Sunday, but for members of the public continued until 11.00. We weren't too happy about this.

We loved just about everything! Every meal was delicious and portion sizes were great! All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Lukasz was a character and kept us laughing and looked after the whole time. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a sea view room and the view was unreal. Really great value for money! The hotel had a very chilled vibe and was decorated with an array beautiful flowers! Just a few steps away from the beach.

Best breakfast on the island with a panoramic view of the gorgeous Grève de Lecq beach, the most friendly and helpful staff ever. Beautiful quiet location with free parking close by. What’s not to love! We’ve stayed here several times over the years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend! 😊

Water pressure can be a problem resulting in a weak shower but I suspect much of the Island will be similar.

This is our second stay at The Prince of Wales. Wonderful location close to the beautiful beach. Sea view was amazing. Very friendly and helpful management and staff. Superb breakfast and evening meal. Room's very clean and functional. Definitely plan to come back next year.

Nothing we didn’t like.

The property was excellent and the location couldn’t have been in a nicer position. Everything we needed was in the room and it was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful they couldn’t do enough for us. The dog was very welcomed as well and will use this hotel again, although the photo on top was not the one we had but it was still a deluxe room.

Very friendly staff. Very responsive to any requests. Great location on the lovely beach. Good breakfasts and dinner choice with large portions! Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Not really a criticism but because we had a front facing room and the weather was so hot, 30 C +, and necessitated having the windows b open there was a lot of noise in the evenings from the bar users sitting outside in the courtyard which was directly below our room.

The location and parking excellent the staff were happy and very willing to help if needed

I have been visiting Jersey on business for over 30 years The Price of Wales is one of the best hotels I have stayed in the food was excellent

The location at the beach of Greve de Lecq

Wir haben das Hotel aufgrund die Nähe zum Strand ausgewählt. Wir waren ohne Auto auf Jersey und sind mit dem Bus Nummer 9, in 35 Minuten vom Busbahnhof zum Hotel gefahren. (50 Meter vom Hotel befindet sich die Endhaltestelle). Zum Strand gelangt man in 2 Minuten, einmal über die Straße und durch die Dünen. Das Hotel an sich, ist wie von anderen auch erwähnt, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer unterm Dach (Zimmer Nummer 1). Das Hotel hat keinen Fahrstuhl und man kommt nur über eine schmale Holztreppe in die oberen Etagen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir Außentemperaturen bis zu 40 Grad. Leider verfügte das Zimmer weder über eine Klimaanlage noch einen Ventilator, so dass die offenen Fenster (inkl. Dachfenster) nicht ausreichten, um die Zimmertemperatur nachts unter 30 Grad zu bekommen. Das Bad war neu gefliest, allerdings Boden, Toilette, Waschbecken und Wanne/Dusche waren mind. 30 Jahre alt. Die Zimmer sind zudem sehr hellhörig, das man die Nachbarn sprechen hört. Es gab einen riesigen Schrank, Schreibtisch Stuhl und einen Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück nimmt man im Restaurantbereich oder auf der Terrasse ein. Man wählt aus einer Karte aus: Getränke, dann eine süße Sache wie: Ceralien, Joghurt, Croissant, Poridge, Obstsalat und dann eine herzhafte Sache: English Breakfast, Eierspeisen, Frühstücksburger oder Waffeln/Pancakes. Natürlich konnte man auch etwas tauschen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und war sehr lecker. Es wurde mit einem Lächeln und guter Laune serviert. Insgesamt waren alle super freundlich und wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Restaurant, das wir nicht genutzt haben. Am Abend haben wir in der Hotelbar/Pub Fußball geschaut. Normale Preise für die Getränke. Die Lage direkt am Strand, sehr ruhig da außerhalb der Stadt und die Busanbindung oder kostenfreie Parkplätze machen dieses Hotel sehr attraktiv.

The location is beautiful, waking up to the sound of waves and a wonderful view. The room was spacious and clean, The owners are wonderful and friendly and their staff also superb. Highly recommend this as a base to explore island.

The holiday ending was the only bad thing!
